[ SHOWGSD-L ] compilation, not an audit

The information above comes from a sitting board member. I believe
that we should either:
(1) engage an accounting firm to do a full blown audit of the GSDCA
annually or
(2) appoint an audit committee composed of the general membership (no
board members) who have a backround in accounting/auditing and are
willing to serve as the audit committee and perform their own audit of
the GSDCA financial activity.
For the record, I'm not questioning anyone's handling of the GSDCA's
money - this is just good business and provides protection for the board
members who handle the GSDCA's finances.
