I guess Chuck and I are not attending the same shows. I don't seem to see scrawny, soft-eared, overangulated spooks when I go to one. In fact, the dogs I see at shows would be welcome in my back yard most of the time. There are exceptions, of course. But his posts would lead you to think that most of them are as he described. I see much improvement in the breed since the seventies and eighties. It sounds like Chuck is recalling those dogs more than seeing what is out there now.
