No puppy needs to die from neglect. Tube feeding/bottle feeding is always an
option. It's not at all unusual for new mothers to take some time to settle in
with puppies - especially if it's been a hard delivery. My bitches are usually
good moms, but, if they aren't, I fall into the camp of taking over the feeding
of a newborn rather than letting it die of neglect.
