Color Enhancing in our breed has become totally out of control in some areas
of the country and with several prominent handlers. And it is totally "unfair"
to the other exhibitors and it is basically cheating. It makes the Enhanced
animals look like they have much more breed type when indeed if left UNEHANCED
they may have less breed type. THE FAVORITE COLOR BY THE WAY IS BLACK AND
RED!!! Certain stud dogs can be bred to any poor pigmented bitch and his
offsprng
will be black and red...guaranteed, lol.
I would like to see this addressed some sort of way. Maybe the new board can
address this issue. It will take ??? because some of our top exhibitors are
doing it and they must be dealt with and that will take some courage from
someone. BUT IT IS 100% UNFAIR FOR THE OTHER EXHIBITORS PLAYING THE GAME
HONESTLY
AND SPENDING THERE HARD EARNED MONEY TO COMPETE ON AN UN-LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.
