[ SHOWGSD-L ] coat issue

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this . My 3 year old bitch went
through her typically spring /summer shed but has continued to shed all
summer long and is still into the fall. She is really naked and has kept her
out of the show ring. By now she should be starting to have signs of
getting her winter coat in. Yes it is cooling off , much to my liking. I
function better in cooler weather.
Her daughter of 17 months is already getting her coat. She lost her puppy
coat this year and is looking great. When I got the rest of the coat out (
so I thought) I put her on inflight like I always had.
When I groom her it is like stripping her of her coat over again. I haven't
done any blood work on her yet. She is active, eats (proplan) well and is ok
weight , she could stand to gain some. Her coat does feel course. Any
thoughts from the list
