to me: bi-colour is a dog you think is all black but when you look
closely, there is some dark brown in certain places...like the back of
the pasterns,
maybe a few other places. I dont' call the dogs where the tan is
obvious from across the ring bi-colour...I call them black and tan.
That's me.
Grey is just what is says...grey.......Sable has certain shadings that
go with that title.......but sables come in various shades, grey, red,
brown.......there's usually some kind of mask (or hint of one) and some
darker shading around the edges of the "ruff" and vertically behind the
withers and elbows.........
not necessarily agouti hairs, but not one solid colour,
either.......sometimes a base colour with a black overlay...........
Some sables are grey. I don't know if all greys are sables, but we tend
to call them sables............
Just my opinions...........
