I fall into the clutz category. I was walking my gsd boy down our paved country road . We stopped at the neighbor's driveway for Romano to sniff around and when we started out again, I guess a loose piece of gravel put itself under my foot and rolled. I was holding the lead and didn't want to let go so my left arm was out straight, my feet got left behind and I clearly remember telling myself on the way to the pavement that "this cannot be happening" but it was! My left knee, left hand and head connected with the road and my glasses flew off. I could not even open my eyes at first and just lay there. Then i called the dog and he came back to me and stood over me. I used him to help me get up and he sorta pulled me back to the house. The end result was the ER and stitches in my knee, stitches over my eye and a scan of my head to check for concussion. I looked pretty battle scarred for a few days and I think people would have believed me more if I'd said I'd been a fight than simply falling on a paved road!
