I have a raised tub in my basement nod a grooming table in my garage..
they get put onto the grooming table and brushed, nails done, ears done
wormed. then they come into the basement and are bathed in the raised tub,
and blown dry there. if it is warm/hot out, then they go back outside. if it
isn't nice weather, they have to stay in the basement in crates with fluffy
towels. blankets, what have you until they are completely dry. they usually
have a nice big marrow bone to chew, so they don't mind at all.
I hate wet dogs - or should I say dogs being wet - so 'out in the rain" is
not an option to me.. all my runs have roofs and in winter here (where it
rains a lot) they have lots of dry shavings in their runs and they only get
out for short periods to run and to be in the house.. no romping in the
muddle puddles for my dogs.
