It is still a requirement to be a member of the CKC, and to not breed dogs
that are not pure bred.
Maybe some one has a copy for the exact wording?

Im not sure if it is still in place but when I signed up as a member of the
Canadian Kennel Club....one of the restrictions was that I had never owned,
run or been employed by a pet store that sold puppies. along with never
having been charged for animal crulety etc..
Please let me know if this is not in place anymore and why it wouldnt work
for the GSDC?

That's a good start.... not being employeed by a pet store that sells puppies.
I like that, but he doesn't "own" "run" or is "employed" by these chains of
stores.......... THEY buy from him... not the other way around, he does not
sell them from his facilities, the Pet stores buy them from him.
And Ive said this before....he's never been charged or convicted of animal
cruelty (not that I don't think it's animal cruelty...just he was never
criminally charged)so..that would be good to put in the new Bylaws for new
memberships and even renewals.
