Ah so what, he loves his dog. He wants a puppy from his dog. Ok, so i=
t's not the way it's "done", but who among us hasn't got a phone call fr=
om someone wanting to have a puppy back from their very special boy? Th=
ere's worse things...this looks like a well fed, well cared for guy. G=
ood for him. I hope this man runs into someone who lets him down easy, =
mentions things like testing etc., and explains that in dogs it's the gi=
rl who asks the boy to the dance in a gentle way. The deal looks a litt=
le screwy but if you don't know, you =
don't know, and if no one tells you, how would you know? Merry Christma=

My point exactly, Kathy. You took my response wrong; it did not call for=
another one of your lectures. It was neither a judgment, nor a critici=
sm, of the guy; I could not care less if he was looking for a Panda Shep=
herd to breed to to produce fighting dogs and spooky Labradoodles; more =
power to him. I was just responding, tongue-in-cheek, to the post you s=
nipped out.
Taking things out of context and reading comprehension seems to be a big=
problem on these lists. Too bad, as it nips many intelligent and/or hu=
morous discussions in the bud.
