Crack the window a bit for fresh air, and if the dog is crated try and make
sure he can see where he is going. Rescue Remedy has never failed for the one
guy I have that gets car sick. 4-5 drops on the tongue a half hour or so before
we leave the house, 4-5 drops just before pulling out and the same amount for
every hour of travel. http://www.bachflower.com/rescue_remedy.htm Most
pharmacies carry it.

I know some people that swear by 2 ginger snap cookies per dog.

Hi Everyone,
We have a question from a friend and we told her if she could hang on a few
days that you guys would have an answer for her.
She has a 4 yr old GSD that gets extremely car sick. Right now she is giving
her Dramamine (sp)? motion sickness meds for people, which seem to help a
little. She says that it makes her dog edgy and distracted and would like to
try
something else. Any suggestions for her? She asked about ginger....
You guys always have the best advice - so Get R Done!

The only way to understand & estimate the nature of the dog is to study his
whole development. Such a task requires a sympathetic, dog-loving observer, who
tries as far as possible to enter into the innermost mind of the dog, and who
will know how to short-circuit all his purely human points of view. --Max von
