They sure didn't go over well in Reno. They bought two of them (imports) supposedly fully trained, and after working with the dogs, sent them back. I don't know about cost, but these dogs did not come cheap. i believe the figure mentioned was $6000.00. I have friends with Malinois, and they are great dogs, but rather high-strung for police work, IMO. My friends agree, and do herding and conformation. Their male was Best of Breed at both Eukanuba and Westminster.
