[ SHOWGSD-L ] can barely speak an unexpected Rainbow crossing

Hi guys..
I have not been on the PPr thing tonight....I am just sick...our newest
arrival, one we were so proud of, and who was one of Hunter's best ever
buddies,
and Nitro's friends...passed unexpectedly, and shockingly tonight...
SiemperFi of Scharo Ark...our HUGE (75 lean lbs) 8 mos, big boned , block
headed , jolly puppy was playing boisterously up and down his run next to his
favorite fraelein, Tryst...at about 4 ...last time I looked...I walked out with
Hunter to feed who LOVES this puppy and vice versa, to see he was not at
the gate as usual...walked further...and he for a fraction appeared to be
sleeping in his dogloo...(at dinner?) I ran into his area, and it was clear
that
he was gone. Hunter behind me ..."whats wrong????"
This gorgeous all male, wonderful boy was only 8 months.....and had a week
earlier been diagnosed with a major heart murmur. We took him in because
despite stool checks , and endocrine checks , he wouldn' t really gain...ate
great, but not gain. That's when the murmur, a major one, was brought to
light...we had hoped to get a second opinion next week.. Guess we did, the
Highest
Opinion ....and now...
Try to explain to a little boy why one of his best-est playmates won't move,
why God wont "fix him" ....
Try spending two hours in concrete hard dirt and rock digging and prying to
make a suitable grave . while his young master looks on through windows.
Try lifting this huge lifeless body from his house, sobbing, struggling
to carry, and then to place him gently in the ground so difficult to
dig......and to leave him lying as a lamb, all curled up......
and watch his very young owner and friend stroke his head and say Goodbye....
and like me....try not to lose it....and try to figure out why you want to
do this anymore.
