I use the orange/citrus based hand cleaner from NAPA Auto store. Contains
lanolin and no harsh chemicals and it works great. I have used it for years.
Just rub a bit on their ears, belly and exposed areas and very few bites at
all. And it is not oily.

Its old tried and true Avon's Skin So Soft. Other Listers may have
something better but this has worked for me and my dogs. Down side its oily
but smells good.

Hi List,
Does anyone know what I could use to keep the gnats off of one of my guys? My
vet told me that they are really doing a number on him. I've tried "Flies Off"
but it doesn't seem to be working. This is the second year that this has
bothered him. With spring being here and the new grass and living out in the
country I guess it is inevitable but I wonder if there is an ointment or
