Tish, I've seen that one; also the one with 25 running together in a field.
I just shake my head in bewilderment. Used to have 4 together with me all
the time in the house. My male and three bitches. When Cindy was pregnant,
her 2 year old half-sister didn't want her in her space and started to fight
with her. Got really nasty. When Cindy, the pregnant one, was 6 months old
she used to sit in the whelping box with the older bitch and play second
mother to her puppies. Even though Cindy was her second mother, that little
bitch never got along with her after that. The older bitch was fine with
her, but the daughter--NO WAY.
You're right; bitches are the worst.

Did everyone watch the video of the 10 dogs running loose on the beach? I
was amazed because I never could have done that with mine. It was only 2
at a time out together - one female and one male. And if you made a
mistake you usually paid for it with a fight. And once they fought, that
was the end of civility forever. Bitches are the worst.

This is a very real problem. I know because one day 3 years ago, I didn't
latch the crate for one of my bitches, while I was letting out another one,
she tore into the one that I had just let out. It was 5 am and I was
getting ready for work. One was the aggressor and the other was just
protecting herself. I finally got them separated, finally. But when I
looked down at my hands, my finger from the 2nd knuckle up was bitten off,
a clean bite.
Of course it happened while I was trying to separate them. It's a shame,
because now I don't have a finger nail and my fingers are piano perfect
hands, long and beautiful. Well, I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance
and they stitched it up. But then I had to have another surgery to have
the nerves implanted into my bone as I couldn't touch anything without an
awful feeling; it was called a neuroma. Even now, I cannot grasp with that
hand because the fi nger is missing, and I will always have this as a
reminder of trying to separate 2 bitches that were fighting. I haven't had
aggressive bitches since, which is a good thing, but my finger will never
be the same. Dog fights are awful, and it is impossible for one person to
separate them sometimes without damage being done somewhere. Awful, just
awful and I don't wish this on anyone. This is the first and only mishap
I've had in almost 30 years, and I take every precaution to not let it
happen again. Such a shame.
