Boycotting is not the way to go.
Showing AKC we can be good citizens is the way to go.
If they take away our abilities to hold evening shows,
or our same day specialties........we are all going to be up
sh-t creek without a paddle !!! And when I say all i mean all.........this
will NOT be good news for our clubs who so desperately need this and you all
will be forced to either show at all breeds or find a new hobby......
I personally know many clubs that are still in existance because AKC gave us
the means to be, we couldn't exist without the clusters and the evening
specialties and the same day specialties that draw the entries in.
Getting your hackles up and fighting the very organization that makes this
all possible is senseless,,,,,,as in the old saying you get more with
honey.....or something like that.
No I am not condoning assault and if that was the case the authorities
should have been called. I am not asking anyone to lay down and take it, but
I'm saying choose your battles wisely and go about it in a way that will
reap the results you choose........don't just fight a losing battle.
