According to the P & P Manual...
Closed Sessions Of The Board: Matters dealing with personalities; special
awards such as being placed
on the Roll Of Honor; President's Citation Award; Honored Guests at the
National; dedications; as well as
Charges of Misconduct; and other sensitive matters shall be discussed in a
closed door session of the
Board. ( nothing listed about the "white issue".... )
( the President or any other member of the Board can call for a closed
session at any time of the
Board meeting.....but it should fall under these reasons or guidelines
listed above .... right?? )

Am very disappointed in the president of the GSDCA for shutting down the
rights of the membership
to openness in continuing the discussion of white GSD's this morning. The
matter was taken into closed session.
While I understand a contentious issue came up just prior to the closed
session, it still could have had resolution
without the concern of legal counsel and litigation.
I am hoping the board publish the final results of this matter. Closed
session can prevent that. Further rumours
and distrust are created when one hides behind closed doors.
