[ SHOWGSD-L ] bitches/dogs in house

I used to have all of my dogs in the house, all four, two dogs and two bitches.
All of them were spayed/neutered. They all got along until one day one of
the girls became jealous of the other over a cookie. There was blood all over
my kitchen. I stopped it(did not get bitten) took them to the vet to be
stitched up and they never had another fight as long as both lived. However,
now that I am breeding my bitches/dogs are all intact and I have had some
serious fights between the girls as well as the boys. I will never trust two
bitches together, no matter how good they have been with each other, and I will
never leave two males together. A male and female, that is fine, and so I
rotate them, always a male and a female. Never had a fight between any of
those combinations.
I just dont take any chances. As somebody said, bitches will fight to the
death. Had a friend whose two bitches got into it and one of them had to be
put down because she was so torn up the vet could not fix her up. You just
never know.
