I hear Elvis did this quite often and he didn't even have to install a
converter box.

how many times have we all wanted to do this?
A 70 yr old man was arrested for shooting his tv. He had struggled for
hours to install his digital converter box to no avail. rather then call
for help he picked up his rifle and shot a hole in the tv. Then held the
police at bay by sitting on his porch with the gun.
True story. Believe me there are a lot of appliances I would like to have
done this to
