I do know that many of the belgian breeders, at least Tervuran's, would like to have gone back to one breed or at least opened the stud book longer. The gene pool for them was so small and many have had epilepsy problems. I had a close friend who owned one with a title on both ends and he had epilepsy. Two she got after that from the breeder to replace him also exhibited it. She finally got one from Europe and he had other problems. Separation isn't always like it seems.
