I was home alone at the time and saw it happen. She started screaming and pawing her face, but she would NOT let me help her. She fought me so hard, I had to rush off to our vet. Luckily, after several of us wrestled her to the table and got the stinger out, she only needed some Benedryl to put her right. But she was very sore for a few days and her face blew up to twice its size... poor kid! Oh yeah. That experience didn't stop her from eating bees, but she never got stung again. I guess she figured out how to dispatch them before they could "get" her. <shrugs> -- Karen C.
