I have not gotten the "old" ballot yet either. Ruth heard right about the
nastiness at the Board meeting. F F went so far as to say if "you " (the
Board) put that (the Amended Complaint) on the website, he would see "you"
in court. I was flabbergasted. When Tish invited the members to introduce
themselves, J B was very critical and let "rip". Then many others there
followed suit and it was very unpleasant to say the least. When it came to
DDArdoin who was there, his comment was that he had never heard guest members
ever make such remarks to a sitting board.
I am worried about how this will all turn out in the end. I heard that
someone denied that this occurred --they must not have returned from recess or
been out of the room when it went on.
I dont know who all is running either

While sitting here waiting for the ballots (new and old, pink or any other
color) I have been wondering who all will be on the list to vote for.
What I do know is that Nancy H is doing one heck of a job handling that
huge
Centennial event. It is taking lots of time and will take lots more. I am
so
grateful that a person who is very qualified is willing to head this for
us.
And Pam O'Dell has been listed as being on the ballot. We know Pam out
here and
she would be a wonderful asset. Besides, I listen to Dave who generally
has a
real good handle on right and wrong.
I have received campaign material from Frank, Fred and Joe - nicely
written. But
if the reports are right, one, two or more were involved in some
unpleasant
actions at the last board meeting. If you can't be on your best behavior
as a
non-board member at a meeting where decorum calls for you to sit back and
listen, what the heck are you going to be like if someone puts you on the
board?
I wish I knew who else is on the ballot - or left off the ballot. I don't
even
know which board members are running for re-election. Hope Lamar is as we
need
his legal expertise, not to mention hi general good sense. But I guess
sooner or
later I will find out and get the chance to vote whatever color ballot the
Honest Ballot Company wants back from me.
