No, if you listen to the news reports that makes sense. Apparently, there
is a liquid they are concerned about that the detectors don't pick up, so
anything liquid, gels, sprays, even water has to be packed and not carried on.
(Because, obviously, you could put the bad liquid in another container). In
the UK they are banning cell phones, because remember for example, in Iraq,
roadside bombs can be set off w/ one, so even in the bad liquid was packed w/
luggage, if you had a cell you could detonate, so cell phones. Baby formula
and medications are the only exceptions to the carry on rule in the UK today,
mothers are asked to taste the baby formula to demonstrate that's what it
really is.
