Is the dog`s jaw locked closed or open? If it is locked open then did the
vet administer endotracheal anesthesia? As an Anesthesiologist, I have
seen complications from endotracheal anesthesia as a result of jaw
dislocation (locked open). Also Ketamine can cause temporary "locking" of
the lower jaw but usually subsides with the metabolism of the anesthetic.
