To clarify why we had to wait a couple of days before the splenectomy could be performed on my dog, this condition was discovered late on a Friday afternoon. My vet had plane tickets for that evening and was to be out of town all weekend. He is the best surgeon in my city, and I did not want anyone else performing the surgery on my dog. So I opted to wait until Monday when he returned. Thankfully it turned out okay. This vet had previously pulled two of my other guys through emergency surgery when they bloated/torsioned. I trusted him and wanted him to do the splenectomy. Kay Goolsby ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2004.
