i have a bitch with some cysts on the inside of her front foot high in the
pad....my vet wouldnt remove the cysts as the foot was too inflamed...she has a
lot of hair inside the pad area...i seem to recall a post where they said DO
NOT trim those hairs....it would make it easier to treat the inflamed area to
trim some of the hair but havent done so as yet....we are treating her with
baytril for the present...has anyone had a situation like this and would they
consider surgery on the cysts....she is limping on that foot as well yesterday
and the vet said to give her low dose deramax(sp) for the pain and seems a
little better today but still not bearing the full weight on her foot...any
advice
would be appreciated....natalie
