Gee-you are all so helpful and smart !!
first of all, I should have said that I feed Diamond Lamb and Rice (adult
food) to all my dogs.--which is 23% protein--and I also feed raw and cooked
meat
and raw veggies. I also give Vit C 500 mg /day. Pups are never on slippery
surfaces--only on sawdust (ships) in the house in the pen at nite and outside
on the ground with hay for bedding during the day.
I will try the gelatin and maybe the cod liver oil--must do a little more
checking first but that sounds ok to me. I guess I do agree not wanting to do
too much calcium so I will stay away from that for now.
