Bob,
You neglected to include the revision to this chapter, which is effective
January 1, 2010:
Applying to Dog Shows? booklet amended to July 2009.
Effective January 1, 2010
CHAPTER 11,
SECTION 1. No dog shall be exhibited in a licensed or
member dog show, unless it is either individually
registered in the AKC Stud Book, or individually
registered with a foreign registry organization whose
pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration. A dog
with an AKC limited Registration shall be ineligible to be
entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member
dog show.
Litter registration numbers are no longer acceptable; each puppy must be
individually registered with the AKC in order to be eligible.
If you go to the link: http://www.akc.org/pdfs/rulebooks/RREGS3.pdf it is
important to read all of the inserts which cover revisions to Rules Applying to
Dog Shows. This particular change is contained on the goldenrod insert.
