Actually, it started the very same way last time - long, descriptive advertisement of some (German) import studs. The problem is, we are not supposed to advertise. Yes, we do post when we have a litter or when we win in the ring. We DO NOT give long descriptions of the dog's spectular virtues, we do not say "breed to this dog if you want improvement"!!!! There are some beautiful stud dogs out there (and I am not saying Am bred or imports). If each person sent this type of long description of the virtues of their favorite stud dog, the list would be flooded and would have lost all of it's current value. Whether we like American Breds or Imports or whatever, we do not need to discuss nor argue their virtues on this conformation list & I, personally, do not need someone to tell me that I should breed to any particular dog. None of that is why I belong to this informative & (usually) enjoyable list.
