No, not at all. In a court of law, if you challenge a judge, it is that
judge who decides what to do about it. He or she can be appealed, but the
decision is with the judge. It is assumed when someone has a position of trust,
they will act in the proper manner. Until suspended or removed, they remain
in
the position and should be allowed the vote. It must be assumed they will
vote the proper way.
If you bring a motion, you vote for or against it, after discussion. Just
because you brought it does not mean you don't get to vote. When on the
board
I made a motion to obtain discussion, then voted against it when convinced
it was a bad idea.
Now, with charges filed against Lew, Gary, Bill, Kris and Carmen, would they
not get to vote on them? Evidently not, since Margy didn't get to vote in
her situation, even though it is still claimed she remained a board member.
The situation is such that the board must follow the example they set. If the
charges are filed that I read, the members of the Executive Committee would
not vote on them. The rest of the board would make the decision and they
would not be involved in the discussion. That was the way it was handled with
Margy, and it should be done the same way with them.
Payback is a bitch.
