As you have so rightly stated so many times, the members should NOT be kept
in the dark, the members have a right to know,so would you please inform all
of us. Secrecy is not a good thing.

This is new news to me.
I think the proper way it would be handled is they would be sent to Sharon,
who would send them to the President. Lew would call an executive committee
who would decide if they were such that if found valid, it would injure the
club or the breed. If so, then they have to be brought to the board for a
hearing within a certain time limit, and the accused would respond. Then,
as with
Margy, those accused would be excused and the remaining board members would
discuss the charges without those members, and decide what to do about
them.
I am not sure the executive committee should consider the validity of the
charges, but there is no way that if proven, they would not be a danger to
the
club. So, I expect either way they will be brought before the board. The
accused and the accuser would both have a chance to be heard before a vote
was
taken.
Without the accused members of the executive committee being able to vote,
it would be interesting to see what happens. I guess Margy would vote on
this
one, since she is not accused and is still a board member.
I don't think it would be proper to expose the charges to the club or
anyone
else before the executive committee considers them. This was done with the
WDA charges and their attorney felt it violated a chance for a valid
hearing.
