[ SHOWGSD-L ] a terrifying thought

Land in this country is being developed at the rate of 250 acres per hour.
Some of us are already living in areas that are too built up...where a 20
mile drive can take up to 2 hours and is at least an hour on the best of
days.
The time is coming, folks, when there won't be ANY place to hold herding
trials, outdoor dog shows, horse shows, or any other event that takes up a
lot of space......
can you imagine...250 acres an hour being turned into housing developments,
highways, malls, and the like?
It makes me shudder!
