With all due respect Bart, that is *not* what my copy of
the BOG says! Here is what it does say:

Really? Then I, for one, would like to know why ILP(PAL)#
dogs are exempt from this ruling? If a purebred, NEUTERED
(they *do* have to be neutered!) German shepherd which
doesn't have AKC registration papers for some reason (say,
it's from rescue) but it is obviously a purebred dog, why
should that dog not be able to exhibit its brains and
receive the club award if it completes the requirements?
Or do "brains" only matter if a dog has AKC papers?
