[ SHOWGSD-L ] a question about guarantees, warrantees or whatever you call them..

When you get a puppy back as part of a sale, or in lieu of stud service OR if
you are the one paying with a puppy..
Who guarantees the puppy? Do you do a contract? Eg you take a puppy instead of
a stud fees, the puppy doesn't turn out, or has major health issues etc etc..
do you just suck it up? Are you entitled to a replacement? If you sell the
puppy who provides a guarantee - the breeder or you??
Not an issue anywhere, just a thought that ran through my head - which has
truly been quite waterlogged with all the rain we have had!! So GREAT to see
the sun!!!
