confusing mass or mixture, a swamp; SYNONYMS: trap, snare, quagmire,
entanglement.

Great post, Evan. We lost 100K? No wonder we won't be able to get the
streaming video for next year. And with alienating everyone who looks
favorably on White German Shepherds, we are REALLY going to generate a lot
of love for attracting new members. Hehehe. (I, for one, would not think
of enticing one shepherd lover to this morass.)

I am not the treasurer, nor do I play him on television.
But, from the early returns, it appears our club lost $100,000.00.
We can survive that. It may be made up with publicity or attention we
received from being the host of the World Trials. I am trying to put the
best
spin on it I can.
We now need to build the club back up. That means encouraging new members,
supporting the club activities and avoid finding fault in what is being
done. You can still criticize, but do so with the intent to help the GSDCA
grow, and find others who will share with you that situation.
If each of us brought in one new member, and with the low costs of the
National for the next two years, this club will emerge stronger than ever.
We
have a great group on the board, and with our support a good future for the
next 100 years.
For fun, does anyone know what number National we just had? I will give
you a hint, it was not 100.
