[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: a new question about showing GSD's

As someone who has both Goldens and GSD's and has shown both as a owner
handler I believe that
it is easier for a owner/handler to win in the golden ring than a GSD ring.
I'm in S. Florida and we do have breeders and exhibitors with GSD's yet none
of them enter the all breed shows. The rings are small for GSD's and when a
slighty larger ring is asked for the answer has been NO.
Our Golden specialty is held on a Friday and we have two all breed shows on
Sat and Sunday. We always have pulled majors.
The GSD's that; show in a specialty aren't shown in all breeds. Example
January circuit majors in 6 specialties in GSD's and the rest of the week at
the all breeds maybe if you were lucky 5 to 10 GSD's the next two weeks.
