Before I put out effort and try to improve the all breed entries here in
Florida, during the rest of the year, after January, I want to
know................
Is there any interest in having all breed clubs bring in judges we would
like, in getting larger rings for our dogs, in or out of doors?
To make a better show situation at all breeds would start with letters to
clubs with a request for a bigger ring, and double matts for indoor shows, and
it would include a list of judges we would like to see that can also judge at
least one whole group.
I would like to do this for the fancy, but since I have no show dogs, I will
only do it if there is interest in this. I don't need to do it for me.
The reason for doing this is that Florida GSD clubs are all clustering. We
have the Orlando cluster in January which has Daytona, N Fla and Treasure
Coast, the Miami and Ft Lauderdale cluster in Feb, and I hear that Tampa and Ft
Myers are going to cluster in March.
That covers most if not all the specialty clubs in the state. What about the
rest of the year?
Please post to the list your replies, so that all can see how much interest
there is or is not in building the all breeds that happen in the state to the
point of drawing more handlers and dogs to give us more than 3 months of majors.
I look forward to lots of discussion on this issue.
