Lamar was always cognizant of his audience, and always was on stage. Boy right you are about that Evan. And it was because he was on stage and loved an audience, that he brought attention to the dog that he was handling as well. We'd be sitting at ringside and he'd be chatting up a storm with everyone around the ring. His dog would be setting himself up and he'd be teasing ringside, by saying things like, "Darling, did you ever see a more magnificent dog in your life?" He was ever aware of his surroundings. He may have been talking to you, but he had his other eye on the judge looking to see if he caught his attention as well. He knew his craft and he knew it well. He was funny, but boy oh boy, you didn't want to be around him when he was mad! LOL! Barbara ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
