As a cancer survivor, I can tell you that when you tell people you have
cancer, they respond in three ways.
First they tell you as in the post below, that you should ignore modern
medicine, don't get chemotherapy, and just, (fill in treatment of choice
here, but include peach pits, and diet with herbs, going to China, etc.). I
even had the radiologist just before my first surgery as he was doing my
pre-surgery check up, tell me to not let them cut me, he knew someone in Iowa
who just changed their diet and cured their cancer.
Second, they tell you who else had cancer, the sister, their cousin, or
themselves, and they all either died, are doing well, are cured or still
fighting it. I guess it is a desire to share.
Third is one that I respond to, but I won't tell you my response because I
don't want to offend anyone. They say, "You have to put your faith in
God". If you want what I say, write me and I will tell you in private.
Now, I don't mean to disrespect Jen, as she has great ideas, and is a
strong supporter of us all. But, we all have the right to our opinions, and
when it comes to cancer, I have faith in modern medicine in the United States,
not Chinese cures available on the internet.
