ME TOO. We had a recipe my Sainted German Grandmother (mutter) Yah
had and we'd make it ourselves too AND something else they don't have here

SOUR KROUT (Ah) However, they do have an odd (you eat it cold) HOGHEAD
CHEESE that is no more cheese than that catsup (Ketchup) you mention below!
My house burned and all the wonderful cookbooks from even the Scottish side

my family (Mother) was burned along with the scrapple one and many other
goodies.

Oh, something that was really neat - Polish - up there to -- Kabaska or

sure, but it was stuffed cabbage leaves cooked to a melt in your mouth
perfection

I spent most of my childhood summers in North Eastern PA and ate tons of=
scrapple. Also smothered in ketchup, of course!! Haven't had any in years.
Used to be able to buy it in Detroit, but, haven't seen it out here on the
Left Coast.
