They are a DQ under the black nose pigment section. They do not have black
noses, and are DQed for that reason.

Spending 4 hours at the vet's office (hospital) yesterday is not the way I
planned it.....it did get to watch the first two innings of the World Series
right at the end of my adventure...among the hundreds of reading materials in
the hugh waiting rooms was the AKC Complete Dog Book edition 19 could be
wrong
on the exact title...it had all the breed standards....I must have read 20
different standards....well of course I read "ours" first...been many years
since I read it....perhaps therein lies my problem..lol...any how I was
surprised to see that blues and livers are NOT DQs according to our
standard....did I read this correctly or did I have an old version of the AKC
book...I was reading the 19th addition.....why am I evolved in this
sport?..lol...FB
