OK, my silence on this topic/subject and whole National finally had a door
opened. Maybe I shouldn't of stepped through it, but I did.
The facts.
Our bitch.who you all know.was ONE of many gorgeous bitches that went 2
whole laps around a ring.after months and months of consistent training,
conditioning and money spent to exhibit on a competitive level. This as we
all know did not happen due to one person's opinion. Now this person, who is
Helen, is writing to the list and telling people how bad handlers show
dogs.what about bad judges that don't judge dogs. Going back to your
post.you said showing a dog with missing teeth.well a good handler hid the
missing teeth on some select dogs.I give them credit. That is what good
handlers get paid to do.Not show it so you can fault it. Apparently you
missed that. OK.others have too.that's fault judging.but when you post and
say all these things about what we as handlers do wrong.well, that doesn't
sit well with me.there are many judges that we don't win under, many that I
don't understand, but.if I feel we had a FAIR shot.then we walk away
satisfied to a degree. We (the GSDCA) had people on a coffee line that
missed bitches they specifically flew to the National to see.and missed. Yes
this has been hashed.but.you opened the door when you made those comments
and fought with people over their comments on bad judging. Call me catty,
(don't forget I;m the infamous CAT LADY) yeah, well I waited 5 mos to calm
down. I now hear that this past weekend in LasVegas, my bitch, was discussed
again with the whole unbelievable situation called the Specials. People are
still shaking their heads on what happened, how it happened and why.what
does this do for her future.and all the honest wins she had.
Sure you can call me a disgruntled looser.sure, I love my bitch, thought she
never had the opportunity to even have some fun. I never got to blow my horn
and even get yelled at by my handler.so I don't feel complete. (I am
laughing now cause this is silly).but you have to understand.hmmm how can I
put this.oh Yeah, Leslie isn't the owner on the bitch, Elizabeth Ashdown,
Tina Bogdanich, Donna Calabrese and Susan Witmer are.so when you apologized
to Leslie in Dog Specials.it didn't help.it was already over.Lenny Brown
shows her.you could of apologized to him.but.maybe next time he should throw
himself down when a judge walks past him.and faint like George did to get
attention.
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DOG SHOW, JUDGED ON THE DAY.SO DON'T PREACH
WHAT WE AS HANDLERS DO WRONG WHEN THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES GOING ON WITH
JUDGES.
