From all I've read the BBS is nothing but a white coated GSD - no other breed
was included in its development. A white coated GSD bred to another white
coated GSD will produce only white coated GSDs - there should never be a
colored BBS produced if our understanding of the white recessive gene is
correct.

Probably the same thing that is done when a Turv is born to a black Belgian.
Turvs, Belgians and Malinois as well as Laekenois--all separate breeds, but
can upon occasion have that little stray pup, that must be registered as what
it is. I would think. Yes?
