Now I really liked the Pork Steaks the meat was tender and tasty. The vendor
probably will not be
there this year though.
Just a thought is there no one in the GSDCA or have a friend that owns or can
fly a plane to get dogs
to St Louis from the West Coast?
The Purina Farm does offer everything needed to hold the National no need to
worry about Herding, Performance,
Conformation or other Events they supply what is needed. Motels, Restaurants
near by with easy access to get to all as the grounds
at the Purina Farm is beautiful and private. The floor is safer in the long run
than uneven ground of grass as there have been cases
of falls by dogs and a person on that.
But then I love the State of Mo find it to a beautiful state spent years of
summers there.

I can't understand why FB hates St.
Louis.
I just checked my last membership list,
((2007) and found that
Missouri had 89 GSDCA club members there. There are a
number of great
reasons to stay there. These are my top
ten.
1. It has a White Castle
right near the
location.
2. There is plenty of green
lawns at the location
and we can depend on gentle cold rain to clear the
air.
3. We can drive just a few
miles to get a T-shirt
to remember the riots.
4. They have an Arch, other
than McDonalds, where
you can get a great breakfast sandwich.
5. It allows a pleasant and
quiet ride from the
airport, where they always enjoy telling you that your dog
is too big to fly
home. It is interesting to see how much larger our dogs are
after the show than
before.
6. The sound is so good you
don't have to listen
to the announcements since they are so garbled they make no
sense. Of
course, even if you could hear them, they make no
sense.
7. There is plenty of
leisure time, during the
show, which allows you to drive around the county side and
see all the open
fields.
8. We have all been there
enough now, to be able
to vote in the elections, and can influence who is elected
in the next
presidential election.
9. Purina gets to influence
our feeding practices
so we don't have to listen to Ed and feed
raw.
10. There are always meat balls,
no matter how bad they
taste.
