[ SHOWGSD-L ] Why specialty club are folding

This could very well be one of the reason why specialty clubs cannot get
enough entries to survive and are folding.
After reviewing the results of this past weekend's shows, I had to wonder
how exactly does the AKC define " giving the impression of impropriety?"
Is it just me, or does anyone else have to wonder what kind of an
"impression" is given when an exhibitor sells a judge multiple dogs, then
exhibits
and wins under the judge on numerous occasions, including this weekend at a
show hosted by the exhibitor's club. I suppose a "crook" is a judge who
doesn't give this exhibitor a win, but it is an "honest" win when the awards
are given to the exhibitors dogs by a judge with whom business has be
conducted. Now does anyone really wonder why people are leaving this sport?
People leaving the sport means fewer entries which means fewer specialty clubs.
