Call any board member, they will tell you who voted for whom. Let's also
remember, that we did not hear the reasons Mr. Hunte wanted to join our club.
Those who were there, and listened to the presentation, did hear that. Eight
of our board felt he should not belong, nine agree to accept Mr. Hunte as a
member.
I think I can name five or six of those board members on the side of
admission, only because I know these people, and know them to be honest and
sincere,
but with a certain mind set. While often I may not agree with them, I do
respect them.
Let's wait and see if Mr. Hunte makes any impact as a member. You don't have
to love every member of your club, when it has over 3,000 members. You
don't even have to talk to them all, or share a drink with them. You should
voice your opinions, and others do not have to agree with you. You should see
what Jane Kerner and I say when we discuss politics or religion, and yet, she
remains one of my favorite people. We are both members of the GSDCA, and boy,
do we not think alike.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
