Perhaps using the word "confirmation" was a typo....
However and nevertheless.... the spelling of the word would be easier to
remember if it is clearly understood that "conformation" shows are a test
and/or contest: each entry is judged pertinent to how closely each of them
is "conformed" to the Standard.
The "Standard" is a Standard of perfection, describing the perfect German
Shepherd Dog.
Alas... no perfect dogs and no perfect people.
