In our experience...long coated animals tend to be very good. In many instances...picks of the litter in intelligence...temperament...and motion. Paul, you are right on the money with this statement! My long-coat puppy, now 7 months old, is so smart it is scary! She is taking private obedience lessons and her instructor is amazed at how intelligent she is. As for temperament...all, I can say is that nothing fazes her. She is as solid as I have ever seen! Movement...yes, she has that, too. The best thing I have done in a long time is to keep this "coat". She will keep all three of these attributes in my line when I breed her further down the road. Pat Castle Kennels, Ltd.
