Lissa is spot on in her assessment. Must be why we're partners with her in
breeding some pretty fine dogs. Her experience in horses has been invaluable
in many of our efforts so I would say to those on "Da List"...take heed.
Lissa and Jenn just got a puppy from Lori. Lilly is a wonderful long coat
bitch...bright, excellent temperament, and will be an excellent addition to
our lines. Our current males don't carry the coat factor so that was not
even a consideration. She comes from a background mixed with dual titles on
her pedigree. Jenn and Lissa can't wait to get her on da sheepies. We hope
to expound on such a pedigree when added to our own bloodlines.
I make this post as it gives an insight on how we work to improve our
breeding program. We have a super Patriot son outta Magnolia that while
isn't a line breeding...was type to type. The Elmo X Honey breeding is that
same type to type. When those kids and Lily are old enough, we will begin a
line breeding with those new lines hopefully producing more dual titled dogs
and improving the breed at the same time.

forgive me as I am a newbie.....I thought long coats are not to be bred, they
are not in acceptable standard. ?????
