I have also been here a long time. Not to mention a long time on the List.
I have been invited to join other groups, but I like what Groucho Marx
said. He would never join a club that would have him as a member.
I use this List to gain information, to listen to other opinions, to
express myself, and hopefully to learn about things I do not know. To me, it is
a way to break into a day filled with hostile judges, clients and
attorneys. To me, the List has been an invaluable tool to help form my
opinions. I
often listen to someone I respect, and adopt their position over what I
originally thought.
I appreciate all that the List does, and the effort to keep it going. We,
the listers are what it is about, and it is all about us.
